Crimes of Passion have been described as one of the hardest working new rock
bands in the UK. Tours supporting the likes of Statetrooper, Gotthard, Jeff
Scott Soto, Great White and White Lion have honed their performance to a
fine art, they always impress audiences where ever they take to the stage.
And they don't disappoint in the studio either. The time spent writing and
recording their self titled release has paid dividends. John Mitchell
(Enter Shikari, Funeral For a Friend) has contributed an awesome mix to 11
finely crafted rock songs, which garnered the attention of a number of
record labels. The band finally settled on a deal with Vigilante Music, and
the album will see its European release on July 21st 2008.
The riffing guitar of Andy Lindsay, is more than matched by the ferocious
rhythm section of Kev Tonge (drums) and Simon Fearne (Bass) and finely
topped off with the powerful voice and showmanship of Dale Radcliffe.
The band have made a lot of friends during their live outings, including
Tony Mills (Shy, TNT) who has contributed his backing vocal talents to some
of the songs on the album.
More touring beckons, and the band have already started writing their next
album! This is a band who seriously live for their music!
The band are currently impressing audiences across Europe as main support to
White Lion.
