The Sand Family consists of Marc & Jay Sand. A brief internet search revealed that Jay has released solo material and that Marc is a music teacher, who has also authored a novel , written a rock opera and, of course, joins brother Jay in "The Sand Family".
At Mood Swings I've covered the a spectrum of music going between hard hitting metal to wimpy AOR. Up until this arrived the closest I'd came to a "funny mood" was The Great Kat's speed metal. Well, enter the Sand Family....
"Barrel Of Monkeys" is a jangly folky country tinged tune all about being more fun than a barrel of monkeys, especially dead rotting monkeys! "Pants" is, well, all about pants, with a chorus of "I f**king hate your pants". Continuing the theme, the final track is a country/bluegrass style song all about it being OK to urinate in your pants!!!
In the UK there is a TV programme called "Men Behaving Badly" and they would LOVE this. Silly, juvenile, bugger all to do with melodic rock! Music to enjoy on a lads night out after a few lagers..........
